The Hawker 900XP: a wide midsize cabin with transatlantic-class range
The Hawker 900XP was built from 2007 to 2013, with 193 aircraft delivered. Jet production stopped when Hawker Beechcraft went through bankruptcy and became Beechcraft. Many remain in service with charter operators.
Inside the 900XP
The cabin is 6.5 m long, 1.83 m wide and 1.75 m high. That is wider than most midsize jets, and the oval section gives more shoulder room in the seats. Charter layouts usually seat eight.
Baggage space is 1.4 m³, heated and pressurised inside the cabin. Bags stay reachable in flight, but bulky items such as skis need planning.
900XP: range and runway
Hawker quoted 2,825 nm with four passengers, the result of new Honeywell TFE731-50BR engines that set it apart from the 850XP. Take-off at full weight needs about 1,513 m. Hawker also certified it for some unimproved runways. Landing needs about 808 m at maximum landing weight.

The 900XP against its class siblings
The Citation XLS+ uses shorter runways and is a newer design. The Learjet 60XR is faster but has a narrower floor. The 900XP has the most range and the widest cabin of the three.
