The aircraft

What this class looks like on the ramp and inside — and how the cabin is actually laid out.

Ultra-long-range jet cabin layout diagram

Typical G650ER / Global 7500 layout — galley and dedicated crew rest, club four, dining four, and an aft stateroom with en-suite. Cabin about 14 m long across three or four zones. Layouts vary between airframes — we confirm the exact cabin and seat count for the tail we are quoting.

When an ultra-long-range jet is the right aircraft

At the top of the fleet the question stops being whether the aircraft can make the distance and becomes what the fourteen hours feel like. A G650ER or Global 7500 divides into three or four separate zones — a forward club, a mid-cabin conference or dining group, and an aft stateroom with a full-length bed and its own lavatory. Crew rest is dedicated, so the cabin crew working the last hour are not the ones who worked the first.

The performance figures are what make the routes possible. Seven thousand nautical miles at Mach 0.85 is Lagos–Dubai nonstop, London–Los Angeles against the jet stream, London–Singapore, New York–Dubai. Cabin altitude around 3,000–4,500 feet and near-sea-level humidity are the reason passengers step off these aircraft after a transpacific leg and go straight into a meeting.

These aircraft are also the scarcest in the market. There are only so many G650ERs and Global 7500s available for charter in Europe and the Gulf at any moment, and demand around Grand Prix weekends, the Gulf season and the December holidays outstrips supply badly. Booking this class three to six weeks out is not caution, it is the only way to get the aircraft you want.

Questions

How many passengers does an ultra-long-range jet take?
12–16 passengers depending on the specific aircraft and its cabin configuration. We confirm the exact seat count and baggage capacity for the tail we are quoting before you commit.
How much does an ultra-long-range jet cost per hour?
Typically £9,000–£13,000 per flight hour as a market guide. Your fixed all-in quote covers aircraft, crew, positioning, handling and fees — we confirm one number before you book, and it does not move afterwards.
How far can it fly nonstop?
Around ~7,000 nm, or up to 14h in the air, subject to passenger load, luggage and winds on the day. We check the actual leg against the actual aircraft rather than the brochure figure.
