Range decides the aircraft
With reserves added, the leg is beyond a super-midsize and at the edge of some heavy jets with a full cabin. The comfortable nonstop choices are a Gulfstream G450 or larger, or an ultra-long-range type such as the Falcon 8X. A smaller aircraft can do it with one fuel stop, which adds roughly an hour on the ground.
Overflight permits
The routing crosses several countries’ airspace, and each needs an overflight permit filed in advance by the operator. Airspace restrictions in the region change, and the routing changes with them. That can add time compared with the straight line, and we confirm the planned routing with the quote.
Which Dubai airport
Most private flights use Al Maktoum International (DWC) at Dubai South. It has dedicated business aviation terminals and is roughly 45 to 60 minutes by car from Downtown and the Palm. Dubai International (DXB) is closer to the centre, but private slots are limited at busy times.
Entry to the UAE
Visa rules for Nigerian passport holders entering the UAE have changed several times. Arriving by private jet does not alter them. Check the current requirement with the official UAE channels, or with the hotel or company sponsoring the visit, before the flight is confirmed.
