Ibiza takes private traffic directly and the island is small enough that the transfer is never the problem — Cala Jondal, Playa d’en Bossa and Ibiza Town are all inside forty minutes, most of them inside twenty.
What is a problem is summer slot availability. July and August compress an extraordinary amount of private movement into a small field, and departure slots on a Sunday evening are the tightest in the Mediterranean. We build realistic departure windows rather than optimistic ones.
Ibiza is the most programmed island in the Med. The club calendar is published months ahead and the tables move with the DJ rather than the venue, so the booking sequence is flight, villa, then tables against the line-up.
Ibiza private terminal
A dedicated general-aviation facility handles private arrivals away from the main terminal. Formalities are quick; the constraint is slots rather than ground handling.
Summer slot pressure
Friday inbound and Sunday outbound are the pinch points through July and August. Booking three to four weeks ahead gets you the slot you want; inside a week you take what is left.
Opening and closing parties
The season bookends — late May and early October — are the two hardest weekends of the year for both aircraft and tables, and they are set six to eight weeks ahead.
What we arrange around the flight
Cars on both ends as standard, helicopter where the timing needs it, and the villa or suite and tables held before you land. See our Ibiza concierge service for what that covers on the ground.
