Flying private to Saint-Tropez

La Môle–Saint-Tropez is a short, restricted field fifteen minutes from the port. It takes light jets and turboprops, and its approach and runway length rule out anything larger. The alternative is Nice plus a twenty-five-minute helicopter.

In August that helicopter is not a luxury. The road from Nice to Saint-Tropez can take three hours on a Friday, and the final approach through Gassin and Ramatuelle is worse. Every experienced visitor flies the last leg.

Saint-Tropez splits its day sharply: Pampelonne for lunch and the afternoon, the Vieux Port for the evening. The two book independently and the beach clubs go first.

La Môle vs Nice

La Môle (LTT) is fifteen minutes from the port but takes light aircraft only and closes earlier than most fields. Nice (NCE) plus helicopter is the reliable route for larger cabins and late arrivals.

August road reality

Nice to Saint-Tropez is ninety minutes in June and can exceed three hours on an August Friday. Helicopter is twenty-five minutes regardless. Book the rotation with the flight.

Pampelonne and the port

Club 55, Loulou and Nikki Beach are the lunch bookings and need three to four weeks in August. Les Caves du Roy is a door rather than a reservation.

What we arrange around the flight

Cars on both ends as standard, helicopter where the timing needs it, and the villa or suite and tables held before you land. See our Saint-Tropez concierge service for what that covers on the ground.
