What a private jet actually costs, route by route

"How much is a private jet?" has one honest answer: it depends on the route, the aircraft class and the day — but "it depends" is useless when you're planning. So here are realistic one-way from-guides for the corridors our clients actually fly, and what moves the number.

The routes, with real numbers

These are market guides for the base of each class — treat them as the floor, not a promise. Your fixed quote lands within minutes of asking.

What moves the price

Four things: aircraft class (a heavy jet on a light-jet route doubles the bill), positioning (you pay to bring the aircraft to you and home again — why one-ways off-base cost more), peak dates (Grand Prix weekend, festival fortnight, Christmas Geneva), and crew duty limits on late-night returns. Flexibility on any of these is money.

When an empty leg beats everything

A repositioning flight on your route can cut the number by half or more — brilliant when it lines up, unreliable as a plan. The busiest corridors (London–Nice, London–Geneva) throw off the most legs. How it works: empty legs, explained.

Getting your number

Send route, date and passengers on WhatsApp; we return aircraft options and a fixed all-in figure — aircraft, crew, positioning, fees — usually within minutes. All routes and the fleet in plain terms: private jet routes.

Good to know

What's the cheapest way to fly private?
An empty leg on a busy corridor — often 50%+ below full charter — if your dates flex. Otherwise a light jet on a short leg, booked early, off peak dates.
Why do one-way quotes vary so much?
Positioning. If the aircraft is based where you start, you pay one journey; if it must fly in empty first, you pay for that too. This is why the same route can quote £9,000 or £14,000 on different days.
Is there a per-seat option?
Charter is priced per aircraft, not per seat — eight passengers on a light jet can beat business class per head. Scheduled per-seat exists only on a few routes (and on the Nice–Monaco helicopter line).
Are your from-prices real?
They're honest floors for the class on each corridor, not teaser rates. Peak dates run higher; your fixed quote is confirmed before you commit and doesn't move after.
