Why Le Bourget
Le Bourget is a business aviation airport north-east of Paris, with no scheduled airline traffic. The drive to the 8th arrondissement is usually 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Charles de Gaulle is an option but adds the walk and the queues of a hub airport.
In June of odd-numbered years, the Paris Air Show takes over Le Bourget. Business flights are restricted that week, and we plan the arrival around it.
Schengen entry
Nigerian passport holders need a Schengen short-stay visa for France. A UK visa does not cover it. Apply to France as the main destination if Paris is the first or longest stop of the trip.
