Booking Nobu Dubai — what to know

Nobu Dubai sits on the 22nd floor of Atlantis The Royal and is the single most-searched restaurant in the city from the UK. The dining room is placed a week or two ahead for weekend dinners in season; Nobu by the Beach, the pool-and-restaurant below, is a daytime booking with a 21-and-over pool.

Getting there & timing

Nobu Dubai occupies the 22nd floor of Atlantis The Royal on Palm Jumeirah — the Japanese-Peruvian menu Nobu Matsuhisa built his name on, a terrace over the Gulf, and a room that fills with the hotel's guests and the city's. Dinner runs nightly from 6pm to 1am with lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3pm. Nobu by the Beach, the beach club version at the resort's pool, runs daily with the pool open from 9am to 7pm and the restaurant from noon to 9:30pm; the pool is for guests aged 21 and over.

The dress code is smart elegant at dinner — long trousers or smart jeans, sleeved shirts, closed shoes — and smart casual at lunch, where tailored shorts are accepted. Nobu by the Beach is beach chic. Minimums are not published and are confirmed on request for the date and table.
