Booking Zuma Dubai — what to know

Zuma Dubai is one of those rooms where the reservation book matters more than the menu — prime-time tables are allocated, not simply booked. Service runs MON, TUE, WED, THU, FRI, SAT, SUN. Dress is smart elegant. Expect a spend in the region of AED 1,200 for a proper table.

How we book it

Send your date, party size and an indicative budget on WhatsApp and we confirm directly with the venue — typically within the hour during the season. Nothing is committed until you approve; if your first choice is full we come back with the closest genuine alternative in Dubai, never a downgrade dressed up.

Getting there & timing

Dubai's two airports take private jets around the clock with fast-track on arrival. The October-to-April season is when the city's tables are hardest to get. VIP transport — jets, helicopters and chauffeured cars — can be arranged around the booking for guests arriving from overseas.

About Zuma Dubai

Zuma Dubai anchors DIFC's power-dining scene — the izakaya formula at its global best, a lounge that outdraws most clubs on Thursdays, and a booking sheet that stays full year-round. The corporate week's defining table; the upstairs bar is a destination in itself.

Booking, the OF.luxury way

One message covers it: date, party size and any preferences. We confirm availability and the night's terms directly with the venue, hold the table in your name, and stay reachable until you are seated. Every booking is subject to the venue's availability and confirmed case by case.

Zuma's two floors: where to sit and when to go

Zuma opened at Gate Village 06 in 2008, which makes it one of DIFC's longest-running dining rooms. The restaurant spreads over two floors, linked by a dramatic staircase and a guest lift for anyone who would rather not climb it.

Choosing the table

  • The sushi counter and the robata grill are the theatre of the room; ask for a table with a view of them.
  • The outdoor terrace is air-conditioned and seats only 20, so it books early in the cooler months.
  • The lounge serves from noon to 2am, but in the evening it is for over-21s and smoking is permitted.

Lunch or dinner

Weekday lunch runs from noon to 3:30pm and is the calmer way to use Zuma for business. Dinner starts at 6:30pm and runs to 1am from Thursday to Saturday, when DJs and live musicians lift the volume at the bar. Families are welcome in the restaurant, which is not true of the lounge after dark.

What to order

The crab salad with avocado and sesame, the prawn and black cod gyoza, and the mushroom rice hotpot with truffle are dependable starting points. The chu-toro tartare with caviar is the indulgent choice.

Elsewhere in Gate Village are LPM and Cipriani. Zuma also has a summer outpost inside Cavo Tagoo in Mykonos.
