LPM Restaurant & Bar is La Petite Maison's Dubai room at Gate Village 8 in DIFC — the French-Mediterranean cooking of the Nice original, with the tomatoes and lemons on the table, the warm prawns and the whole roast chicken that made the name, in a bright room that has been the financial district's lunch since it opened. It serves lunch and dinner daily, weekdays from noon and weekends from 12:30, with the bar running daily until 1am.
The dress code is smart casual — no sportswear, beachwear or shorts in the restaurant — and there is no table minimum; it is à la carte, settled at the restaurant.

LPM's terrace, its bar and what to order
LPM is at Gate Village 08, in the same cluster as Zuma, Gaia and Cipriani. Everything is cooked to order, à la minute, in the manner of the Riviera. Dishes arrive as they are ready, and the table shares them.
Where to sit
There are two quite different settings. The terrace is shaded and lined with bougainvillea, and between November and March it is the table to ask for at lunch. Inside, the bar runs along almost the whole of one wall, which gives the room its energy in the evening. Name the preference when booking rather than on arrival.
What the regulars order
The roast chicken, le poulet, is the dish the house is known for and is meant for sharing. Les escargots are there for those who want the classic French opening. At the bar, the Tomatini is the house cocktail.
Who it suits
LPM is the easiest DIFC room for a working lunch. It is à la carte, and there is no set menu to sit through. It also suits a relaxed dinner for four, with the bar open afterwards until 1am. Evenings are livelier than lunch, so choose lunch for a conversation that matters.
