Beefbar Paris takes reservations directly and through concierges. The difficulty is not getting a table — it is getting a good one on a Friday or Saturday, when the main room fills from 8:30pm and the requests outnumber the covers.

Lunch is straightforward, often same-week. Weeknight dinners generally need a few days. Friday and Saturday in season, and the whole of Fashion Week, need a week or more, and the tables that matter — in the Art Nouveau room rather than the overflow — are the first to go.

When we book it we confirm the section, not just the slot. A confirmed table in the wrong part of the room is a common way for a booking to technically succeed and actually disappoint.

Booking it through us

Send the date and party size on WhatsApp and we confirm directly with the venue — typically within the hour. We confirm the table position and the terms in writing before anything is committed, and if the date has gone we say so rather than place you somewhere adjacent.

Service times, channels and group bookings at Beefbar

Beefbar opens every day of the week, for both lunch and dinner. Knowing the exact sittings helps you pick a slot that the kitchen and the room can serve well.

The service windows

Lunch, Monday to Friday: noon to 2.30pm.
Lunch, Saturday and Sunday: noon to 3pm, with brunch on Sunday.
Dinner, Sunday to Thursday: 7pm to 11pm.
Dinner, Friday and Saturday: 7.30pm to 11.30pm.

Booking close to the last seating leaves little room for a long meal. For a relaxed dinner, aim for a table at least ninety minutes before the kitchen closes.

How bookings are taken

The restaurant takes reservations by telephone, by email and online through SevenRooms. The online system runs around the clock. Groups and parties are also taken, and private events are arranged with the restaurant directly.

Groups and the private room

For a private event, the restaurant's glass-roofed 1900 room is listed for up to around 50 guests, seated or standing. It suits a company dinner or a family celebration. Food for a hire comes from the Beefbar kitchen alone. Allow several weeks for a weekend date and longer around the fashion weeks.

Arriving on the day

Valet parking is available every evening at 5 rue Marbeuf. For guests landing at Le Bourget, a lunch booking at 1pm gives margin for a late slot or road traffic. Flights from the south of France are covered in our Paris and Nice jet guide.

Pairing the evening
