The numbers first, because that's what everyone searches: the Nice to Monaco helicopter takes about seven minutes, scheduled seats start around €250, and a private aircraft runs from roughly €1,900. The road takes 45 minutes on a good day and comfortably over ninety in summer or Grand Prix traffic.
Seat or private?
The scheduled line is excellent value — real service, luggage handled, multiple daily rotations. Go private when you're four or more (the maths converges fast), when your inbound flight is late or moves, or when you'd rather not share the seven minutes. Private also means the rotation waits for you.
How boarding actually works
Land at Nice, meet the transfer desk airside where possible, bags go through, and you're airborne within minutes of clearing arrival. On the Monaco side the heliport sits at Fontvieille — your car (which we arrange with the flight) is two minutes from the skids. The whole airport-to-apartment journey is regularly under 25 minutes.
When it earns the money
August coast-road traffic, Grand Prix week, and any evening where dinner is booked and your flight isn't on time. Outside those windows a chauffeured car is often the smarter spend — and we'll tell you so.
The other rotations worth knowing
Nice → Cannes (~10 min) during the festivals, Nice → Saint-Tropez (~25 min against a 2–3 hour drive), and in winter Geneva → Courchevel and Geneva → Verbier. All routes: helicopter transfers. Flying in first? Pair it with London → Nice and the whole door-to-door is one booking.
