Yoyo beneath the Palais de Tokyo: the space, the events and the arrival
Yoyo is in the basement of the Palais de Tokyo's west wing, entered from 13 Avenue du Président Wilson in the 16th arrondissement. It occupies rooms once used by the Cinémathèque française. A car can set down on Avenue du Président Wilson, across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower.

The space
The volume is the point: raw concrete, ceilings around ten metres high and a mezzanine that overlooks the main floor. The room is split between stage, dancefloor and mezzanine, with a giant video screen and full concert lighting. There is a smoking area, and outdoor space can be used for events.
How the nights work
Yoyo is less a nightly club than an events venue. Most public nights are run by promoters and sold through ticketing platforms, mainly on Fridays and Saturdays. Programming moves between hip-hop and rap concerts, reggaeton and afrobeats nights, and electronic DJ sets. Fashion Week brings shows and brand parties, many of them invitation only.
Private hire
The space can be hired in full for around 1,000 guests standing, or 800 for a cocktail reception. It has hosted fashion shows, concerts, conferences and corporate parties.
