The format pushes the bill up quietly. COYA is Peruvian small plates, ceviche and pisco, and tables order across the menu rather than one dish each. Add the pisco list and a table of four can move well past a conventional restaurant spend without anyone ordering conspicuously.

For the terrace, private areas and Grand Prix week, a minimum spend does apply and it rises sharply for that week specifically. We confirm the exact figure for your date in writing before you commit.

How the bill at COYA is built

At a standard table, COYA charges for what you order. The bill grows from the shape of the evening rather than from any one dish.

Where the spend goes

  • The sharing menu. Ceviche, tiradito and grills arrive in rounds. A table that keeps ordering through the evening spends more than one that orders once.
  • The pisco bar. Pisco sours and the bar's own cocktails run alongside dinner, and often after it.
  • The lounge and shisha. Many tables stay on after the meal while the DJ plays. This is where the hours from 11pm to 1am add to the bill.

When a set commitment applies

The semi-private and private areas work differently. They are booked as a package, with a set tasting menu, signature cocktails and often a DJ. The terms are agreed in advance and depend on the group's size and the date.

Dates with more pressure

COYA opens from early April to late October. Demand peaks on high-summer weekends and on the nights it shares with Jimmy'z. In 2026 those included 10 April, 26 June and 25 September. Grand Prix weekend, which ran from 5 to 7 June in 2026, is the tightest of all.
