Booking Erth — what to know

Erth is the table that answers the question visitors most often ask in Abu Dhabi — where to eat the country's own food properly. One Michelin star, a room designed like a raised majlis, and a location between the oldest building in the city and its cultural centre. Weekend dinners want a week or two of notice.

How we book it

Send your date, party size and an indicative budget on WhatsApp and we confirm directly with the venue — typically within the hour during the season. Nothing is committed until you approve; if your first choice is full we come back with the closest genuine alternative in Abu Dhabi, never a downgrade dressed up.

Getting there & timing

Zayed International takes private jets with a dedicated terminal, and Al Bateen Executive Airport in the city is business aviation only. Dubai is about seventy-five minutes by road, so an Abu Dhabi table is a realistic evening from a Dubai base. Chauffeured cars and, for the Grand Prix weekend, helicopter transfers are arranged around the booking.

About Erth

Erth sits in the Al Hosn compound in Al Khalidiya, between Qasr Al Hosn — the oldest standing structure in Abu Dhabi — and the Cultural Foundation. It was the first Emirati restaurant anywhere to take a Michelin star, and it has retained it in every guide since, including the 2026 edition. The room is carved out of a raised floor in the manner of a traditional majlis, warm and low, and the cooking takes Emirati dishes and technique somewhere contemporary without losing the generosity that defines them.

It opens from noon for lunch and dinner. There is no table minimum; the menu runs à la carte with a tasting option. It is the one address in this list that a first-time visitor to the capital should not skip.

Booking, the OF.luxury way

One message covers it: date, party size and any preferences. We confirm availability and the night's terms directly with the venue, hold the table in your name, and stay reachable until you are seated. Every booking is subject to the venue's availability and confirmed case by case.
