Farm Club: where it is now and how the night runs
The Farm Club is part of Experimental Chalet Verbier, at Route de Verbier Station 55. Experimental Group runs both the hotel and the club. The chalet also holds the St Bernard restaurant and an Experimental Cocktail Club. It faces the Grand Combin at the front and the slopes at the back.
The Italian brothers Serafino and Giuseppe Berardi opened the club in 1971, in the disco years. A 2002 renovation numbered the original wooden beams, took them down and refitted each in its old position. The barn-wood structure guests see today is the original.
Season and hours
The club trades through the winter season and opens nightly from 11pm to 4am. The chalet's winter calendar begins with the Polaris Festival in November 2026. Xtreme Verbier follows in March 2027, one of the resort's biggest spring weekends.
A typical evening starts with dinner at St Bernard, where chef Rudy Ballin cooks with mountain cheeses, local meats and Swiss wine. The club is in the same building, so the move on needs no car and no walk in the cold.
Getting to Verbier
Verbier sits at about 1,500 metres, reached by a single road from Le Châble or by cable car from Le Châble station. Geneva is about two hours by car. Sion Airport, in the Rhône valley, has a 2,000-metre runway for private aircraft.
