Tape Mykonos runs on the table economy: the room is built around its booths and walk-up entry on a peak night is never a given. A confirmed table is the difference between an evening and a queue. Doors are nightly (midnight–6am), the sound is centred on house, tech-house, hip-hop, the door enforces a smart elegant dress code, and tables start at €1,000 table minimum.

Where it is

Akti Kampani runs along the water beneath Mykonos Town. It is walkable from most of Chora and a short taxi from Ornos, Psarou and Platis Gialos. Parking in town is genuinely difficult in August — a chauffeured drop-off is the sane option.

When to go

Mid-July to the end of August is peak, and Friday and Saturday are the hardest nights to place late. Early July and the first half of September are noticeably easier and the room is no less good.

What a table costs

Tables start around €1,000 minimum spend and climb steeply for prime positions on peak dates. Position matters more here than in a larger club — the room is small, and the difference between a booth on the floor and a table at the edge is real.

About Tape Mykonos

Tape arrived in Mykonos carrying a London reputation, and the island room does not dilute it. The address is Akti Kampani — the seafront strip below Mykonos Town, a few minutes’ walk from the old port — and the format is the one that made Tape London a Mayfair fixture: a compact room, a serious sound system, and a door that runs on tables rather than volume.

The night starts late even by Greek standards. Doors are at midnight and the room does not fill until well past one; it runs to six in the morning, seven nights a week through the season. That timing matters when you are planning — a dinner at 9pm in Chora or a sunset at Scorpios sits naturally in front of it, and most of our Mykonos guests treat Tape as the second or third move of the evening rather than the first.

Musically it sits broader than the island’s techno rooms: house and tech-house through the core of the night, with hip-hop and pop worked in as the room peaks. International names rotate through alongside residents. The interior is deliberately restrained — clean lines, white Cycladic surfaces — so the crowd and the lighting do the work.
