VOID's room: a former cinema in Lakka, and how the tables work
VOID is on Lakka square, on the edge of Mykonos Town. The building began as a cinema and later housed the Space club. Its architects describe it as the largest discotheque space permitted inside the town.
The layout
The club is a double-height room laid out like an arena, across four levels. The dance floor is in the centre, framed by two long, symmetrical bars. The table area is raised one metre above the floor, level with the bar tops. Tables therefore look over the dancers without being among them.

- Booths behind the DJ booth have deep sofas and a view back across the room.
- The Gallery, upstairs, is an invitation-only lounge with its own bar and VIP tables.
Hours and the door
In summer the club runs from midnight until 7am. Most guests come on after dinner in town, which keeps the evening on foot rather than in the car. The door asks for semi-elegant dress, so beachwear is a poor bet.

For a group that wants a table with a view of the floor, the raised section is the request to make. For privacy, The Gallery is the better choice, subject to the club's approval. As a town venue, it pairs best with dinner nearby rather than a day at a beach club.
