Saint-Tropez in season is the most concentrated luxury market in Europe — a few kilometres of Pampelonne beach, a port full of boats, and a handful of rooms everyone wants on the same Saturday in August. Booking is everything. Here is how the season works in 2026.
The Pampelonne beach clubs
Club 55 is the original and still the most coveted lunch on the beach — understated, family-run in spirit, and almost impossible to walk into in peak weeks. Nikki Beach is the opposite energy: champagne spray, daybeds and a DJ, the loud end of the beach. Loulou Ramatuelle (formerly the Pampelonne icon) is the polished, design-led successor that now anchors the dressy lunch crowd.
Dinner & late
Bagatelle is the dinner that turns into a party — napkins in the air by midnight. Les Caves du Roy, inside the Byblos, is the legendary nightclub where the season's late hours happen, famously priced and famously hard to enter on a busy night. VIP Room on the port rounds out the late circuit.
What it costs
Beach daybeds work on minimum spend — as a guide, a couple can have a proper Club 55 or Loulou lunch comfortably, while a front daybed at Nikki Beach on an August Saturday runs into the thousands. Les Caves du Roy is bottle-minimum and peaks hard on headline nights. We confirm the exact figure for your date before anything is booked.
Getting it right in August
Pampelonne road traffic is the real constraint — build in time, or arrive by tender from a boat. Lunch is the main event; the dressy crowd moves from beach to port to Les Caves du Roy as the night goes on. The single biggest mistake is leaving the booking until you arrive — by then the good tables are months gone.
How we place the table
OF.luxury holds direct relationships with the table managers at the rooms above. Booking through us costs you nothing — venues pay us a placement commission — and it usually means a better table than a cold enquiry would get. Send your date, party size and an indicative budget on WhatsApp and we draft the night in one reply. Availability is always confirmed case by case.
