Club 55 is the original Pampelonne beach club — born in 1955 when the de Colmont family fed Vadim's film crew, and unchanged in spirit since. Simple grilled fish, the crudité basket, white linen under tamarisk trees, and a lunch crowd that has included every name that ever mattered on the Riviera. Lunch only; the table is the point.

Club 55's long season and how to arrive
Club 55 is at 43 Boulevard Patch, on Pampelonne beach in Ramatuelle. It has a long season for this coast. In 2026 it opened on 27 March and closes on 1 November, from 10am to 5pm each day.
Shoulder months
That long season gives a choice that most Pampelonne beaches do not offer. In April, May, late September and October, Club 55 is calmer, easier to book and still warm at midday. A table in high summer needs much more notice.
Arriving by sea
Club 55 has its own wharf and runs a boat shuttle from the moorings off the beach. It is one of the most natural lunches to reach by tender. Give us the yacht's name and position and we pass them on with the booking.
Arriving by car or air
The beach has private and covered parking, so a driver can wait. Helicopters from Nice land at La Môle, about 15 kilometres south-west of Saint-Tropez, followed by a short drive.
What is on the beach
Beyond the restaurant there are mattresses and parasols, straw huts, a shop and a supervised beach. Families can make a day of it rather than just lunch.
Where the food comes from
Much of the produce comes from the family's own organic farms nearby. Vegetables, fruit, wine and olive oil are grown for the restaurant. That explains the plain, produce-led cooking the page above describes.
Who it suits
Club 55 suits a long, relaxed lunch where the conversation matters more than the music. It suits families, older guests and anyone arriving by yacht.
