La Guérite Cannes reservations, in detail

La Guérite books ahead through the summer and the Festival week is effectively placed before it starts. Front tables on the water go first, then the terrace, then the room behind.

We need the date, the party size, and how you are arriving — ferry, the restaurant tender, or your own boat. The arrival changes the timing of the booking, which is why we ask it up front rather than after.

During the Festival and the Grand Prix weeks the honest answer is often that the good tables have gone. We will tell you that rather than seat you at the back of an island restaurant you travelled to get to.

Booking it through us

Send the date and party size on WhatsApp and we confirm directly with the venue — usually within the hour. Terms and position are confirmed in writing before anything is committed, and if the date has gone we say so.

Where reservations are held

The restaurant takes bookings through SevenRooms, and runs a separate portal for its members.

The window

The 2026 season runs from 7 May to 11 October. Dates outside that window cannot be placed. Lunch is served every day of the season.

Three bookings, one day

Ask for the table, the beds and the shuttle together. Beds are sold by row on the sand, so say whether you want the first line. A pattern that works well is beds from late morning and the table at about one.

Dinner

Dinner is served only on Saturdays in July and August. Those few nights are booked separately from lunch. The return boat must be fixed at the same time, because the public ferries have stopped by then.

Larger parties

With about 250 seats the restaurant can take sizeable groups, but long tables on the front line are few. Beyond a long table, the next step is privatising part or all of the site, for up to 300 guests.

Festival fortnight
