The enclosures are not tiers of the same thing
The Royal Enclosure is not bought. Admission is by application, and a first-time applicant is generally required to be sponsored by an existing badge-holder who has attended several times. It runs on its own dress code and its own etiquette, and no amount of money shortcuts the sponsorship requirement.
The Queen Anne Enclosure is the principal public enclosure and where most official hospitality sits. It has a full view of the track, the parade ring and the Royal Procession, its own enforced dress code, and it is an excellent day.
The Village Enclosure runs on selected days with a younger, more informal atmosphere. The Windsor Enclosure is the most relaxed and the least formal.
Anyone offering to sell you Royal Enclosure access outright is describing something that is not theirs to sell.
The dress code is a condition of entry
In the Queen Anne Enclosure, women wear a hat or a headpiece with a solid base, and dresses and skirts of modest length. Men wear a full-length suit with a shirt and tie. Strapless and off-the-shoulder dresses are not permitted, and nor are bare midriffs.
The Royal Enclosure is stricter again: formal day dress with a hat, and for men black or grey morning dress with a waistcoat, a tie and a top hat.
This is not guidance. Ascot staff turn people away, and a headpiece that does not meet the base requirement is one of the commonest reasons.
Timing and availability
Ascot goes on sale months ahead and holds availability considerably longer than Wimbledon — there is usually still something reasonable when Wimbledon has been gone for a season. That is not a reason to leave it: Gold Cup day and Saturday go first, and the good facilities go with them.
If you want a specific day, name it early. If you are flexible, we can usually find a better facility on a quieter day for the same outlay.
Getting there
Ascot station sits opposite the racecourse and the train from Waterloo is genuinely the sensible option on Gold Cup day. Driving means car parks that fill early and a long, slow exit.
Helicopter transfers operate to the course on race days and are the one occasion where the helicopter earns its cost rather than merely looking well — ask and we will price it against the car honestly.

How the sourcing actually works
We are not a ticket agency and we do not resell hospitality. Packages at these venues are sold through the organisers’ own official programmes, and the terms of those programmes do not permit resale — which is exactly why the invoice and the tickets are issued to you, in your name, by the hospitality provider.
What you are engaging us for is the sourcing: knowing which package actually suits the party, getting the requirement in early enough to matter, and arranging everything around the day. Our fee is agreed with you and paid to us; the package itself you settle directly with the provider. Nothing is added to their price by us.
Because we place a request in your name we ask for the guest details the programme requires. Those details go to the provider for invoicing and ticketing and nowhere else.
The day around it
Around the day is the part most people underestimate. The hospitality gets you fed and seated. Getting eight people from Mayfair to the ground and back without a two-hour crawl, a table that will still take you at ten o’clock, and somewhere to stay when the whole city is full — that is the work, and it is the reason to use a concierge rather than a booking form.
We arrange the cars, the restaurant either side, the helicopter where it genuinely saves the day rather than merely sounding good, and the villa, chalet or suite if the fixture is the centre of a longer trip.
What we will not do
We will not promise a package before the provider has confirmed it is available. Flagship hospitality sells out, and an agency that takes your money on a maybe is selling something it does not hold.
We will not resell hospitality, and you should be wary of anyone who offers to. Packages bought outside an official programme can be cancelled at the gate.
We will not quote you a package price we have not confirmed for your date and party size. Prices move with the fixture, the facility and how early you ask.
