La Mangeoire: dinner, piano and the late room
La Mangeoire is on Rue Park City in the centre of Courchevel 1850. It has worked as a restaurant and piano bar for more than twenty years. The resort lists it open from 4 December 2026 to 18 April 2027, and it trades in winter only.
How the evening unfolds
Dinner is served from about 8.15pm, with the last orders around 10.15pm. The kitchen is traditional French with Savoyard roots. Wood-fired grills, rotisserie dishes and fondues are the core of the menu. The wine list is long, and the cellar is one of the house's strengths.
A pianist plays during dinner, and for the first part of the night the room is a restaurant. After midnight a DJ takes over and the same room becomes a dance floor.
Booking and who it suits
Christmas, New Year and February half-term fill first, so those weeks need a reservation well ahead. A late seating gives the full evening in one place. An earlier table suits those who want the piano and then a quieter night. Couples tend to enjoy the early part, while a group celebrating gets the most from it after midnight.
