Booking Maçakızı — what to know

Maçakızı runs on the table economy: the room is built around its beds and booths, and walk-up on a peak date is never a given. Doors are daily (may–october), the sound is centred on mediterranean, house, the door enforces a beach chic dress code, and tables start at €1,500 daybed minimum.

How we book it

Send your date, party size and an indicative budget on WhatsApp and we confirm directly with the venue — typically within the hour in season. Nothing is committed until you approve. If your first choice is full we come back with the closest genuine alternative in Bodrum, never a downgrade dressed up as one.

Getting there

Bodrum-Milas (BJV) is 35–50 minutes away by road and takes private jets directly. In August the coast road backs up badly and helicopter is the sane option. Pair the booking with a staffed villa on the peninsula and we hold both on one thread.

About Maçakızı

Maçakızı is the reference point for Bodrum in the way Scorpios is for Mykonos — a hotel that became a scene, on the slope above Türkbükü bay with a jetty running out into the water. Lunch there stretches into the afternoon and the afternoon into dinner, and the crowd is a mix of Istanbul money, returning regulars and whoever has just come off a boat.

The format is daybeds on the terraces and the jetty, with a restaurant that takes itself seriously — Aegean produce, a lot of fish, and a wine list that rewards attention. It is not a nightclub and does not pretend to be; the music lifts through the evening but the room stays a restaurant.

Booking is the whole game. Summer reservations are known to go within hours of release, and the jetty daybeds are the tightest inventory on the peninsula. A confirmed table or bed weeks ahead is the only reliable way in during July and August.

Booking, the OF.luxury way

One message covers it: date, party size and any preferences. We confirm availability and the night's terms directly with the venue, hold the table in your name, and stay reachable until you are seated. Every booking is subject to the venue's availability and confirmed case by case.

Good to know

What is the minimum spend at Maçakızı?
Daybeds and terrace tables run from roughly €1,500 minimum spend as a guide, rising sharply for jetty positions in peak August. The exact figure depends on the date, the position and the party size — we confirm it in writing before anything is committed.
How far ahead should I book Maçakızı?
For July and August, weeks rather than days. Summer reservations are released in batches and the best positions go quickly. Outside peak we can usually place a table with a few days notice.
Is Maçakızı a club or a restaurant?
A beach club and hotel with a serious restaurant. The music builds through the evening but it stays a dining room rather than a dancefloor — for a late night, Bodrum moves on to Yalıkavak.
Where exactly is Maçakızı?
On the hillside above Türkbükü bay, with terraces stepping down to a private jetty. Roughly 50 minutes from Bodrum-Milas by road, or under ten by helicopter.
